Diving in head first... A post I started some time ago and got no further than the title, but still fits.
I've allowed myself to get "too busy for art", and that isn't something I am happy with, so I'm taking active steps to increase the time I spend making art. I'm not able to spend time each day right now, but am devoting some time several times a week to small projects.
I started the year off deciding to participate in this year's #twitterartexhibit, and did several pieces to fit that exhibit before I decided on which one to use. I've since mailed my submission to Moss, Norway and am continuing with small pieces to keep myself motivated.

Trees are something of a theme for me. They have featured strongly in my art since I was quite young. I live in a rural area. I grew up surrounded by trees, with the nearest major (paved) road almost a mile away, and loved it! Where I live now isn't quite that remote, but still rural and I wouldn't trade living in the country for anything.
