Crockpot Lasagna

Our new favorite recipe...

Crockpot Lasagna

(everything is approximate - my crockpot is big)

3 lbs ground chuck/beef/sirloin
2 jars spaghetti sauce
3 oz low fat cream cheese
2 cups shredded cheese (I used colby jack)
1/2 box oven ready lasagna noodles
parmesan cheese (to taste)

Cook and drain the ground beef (I do this the night before, to cook in the morning). Mix the spaghetti sauce and meat and spread a thin layer in the bottom of the crockpot. Alternate layers of uncooked noodles, meat sauce and cheese ending with cheese. (I place slices of the cream cheese with the shredded cheese.) Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours. (If my meat sauce is cold I start it on high for about 1/2 hour.)

I've never had to deal with leftovers with this recipe.
Hope y'all enjoy!

definitely sounds tasty! :)

I'll be using Grandma's old crockpot from the 70's to cook this. :)

Hope you enjoy it as much as we have!

I fixed this for a family reunion of sorts this weekend. Even borrowed a second crockpot so I would have plenty. Both were empty when lunch was over!

Thanks for the great recipe. I call myself the Crock Pot Queen cause that is the only way I cook :)
