Proof print...

Ok - as promised - this is the first two proof prints of the lino cut. I'm pretty pleased with them - but definitely not the paper. This is just some cut watercolor paper I had lying around. The final prints/cards will be on nice smooth Strathmore printmaking paper. Hopefully I'll get them started tonight. Be kind, please. Remember it's been years since I have done this...

Hey, I like the prints AND I like the color. I just bought my husband a teal button up long sleeve for work with a multi-gray designed tie. Funny thing, now that he has to wear ties and buttonups every day, he likes them. He can't have the new shirt and tie til Valentine's Day though. LOL. We are kindred spirits as my hubby also knows what he is getting, but is not getting it early. :)

Nice start to the print, but yes, you'll be much happier with something other than watercolour paper for your support! Looking forward to see it on a better option!!
